BELAGAVI — Air travelers in North Karnataka have reason to celebrate as major airlines announce significant expansions to their flight schedules from Belagavi Airport starting October.
Based on schedule updates from the official websites of IndiGo and Star Air, the expansions include additional nonstop flights to Bengaluru, daily operations to New Delhi, and the return of the popular nonstop link to Ahmedabad.
IndiGo Resumes Additional Bengaluru Flight, Upgrades Delhi Route to Daily
IndiGo is set to enhance its presence at Belagavi Airport with two major updates starting early October:
1. Additional Bengaluru Nonstop Flight (From October 02)
Following earlier flight reductions triggered by elevated aviation fuel costs, IndiGo is reinstating additional nonstop flight services connecting Belagavi and Bengaluru.
Operating four days a week — Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays — this expanded frequency restores convenient same-day return options for business travelers, IT professionals, and students.

2. Daily Operations to New Delhi (From October 01)
Responding to strong passenger demand on the capital sector, IndiGo will scale up its direct Belagavi – New Delhi flight service from the current three days per week to a daily operation starting October 01.

- Delhi to Belagavi: Departs New Delhi at 6:15 AM | Arrives Belagavi at 8:40 AM
- Belagavi to Delhi: Departs Belagavi at 9:10 AM | Arrives New Delhi at 11:40 AM
Star Air to Relaunch Belagavi – Ahmedabad Service 5 Days a Week
In another welcome development for regional commerce and tourism, regional carrier Star Air will resume its highly requested nonstop service between Belagavi and Ahmedabad starting October 25.
As per Star Air’s official schedule, the popular route will operate five days a week — Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

- Belagavi to Ahmedabad: Departs at 7:45 AM | Arrives at 9:25 AM
- Ahmedabad to Belagavi: Departs at 7:15 PM | Arrives at 8:55 PM
