In a major boost to urban infrastructure and commercial connectivity, Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait commenced road development works worth ₹2.5 crore across some of the city’s busiest commercial localities, including Ramdev Galli, Maruti Galli, Samadevi Galli, and Kirloskar Road.
The project aims to strengthen road infrastructure in these high-traffic market areas, ensuring smoother movement for traders, customers, transport vehicles, and daily commuters. The development works are expected to address long-standing issues such as damaged roads, traffic congestion, and inconvenience faced by business establishments and visitors.
The inauguration program was attended by Amaan Sait, members of local market associations, shop owners, traders, and community representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Asif (Raju) Sait said that improving infrastructure in commercial hubs is essential for supporting local businesses and creating a better trading environment. He assured the public that the development works would be carried out with quality standards and completed within the stipulated timeframe.
“This project will not only improve connectivity but also provide better convenience and accessibility in some of the city’s most important business areas,” he said.
Market association members and shop owners welcomed the initiative and expressed gratitude to the MLA for addressing long-pending development demands in the area. They stated that improved roads would greatly benefit commercial activities and enhance the overall experience for customers and transport operators.
