  • Mass Transport: Standard NWKRTC buses (47–55 seats) are now priced at ₹54 per km for travel within Karnataka and ₹57 per km for interstate trips, with a minimum requirement of 350 km.
  • Luxury & Premium: The premium Ambari Utsav (AC Sleeper) tops the range at ₹140 per km with a 600 km minimum. Meanwhile, the popular Airavat Club Class ranges between ₹75 and ₹90 per km, depending on the specific model and whether the journey occurs on a weekend.
  • Regional Flexibility: For residents of Hubballi, Dharwad, and Belagavi, the corporation offers city buses for 12-hour durations, specifically tailored for local events and city-wide transport.

Special Incentives for Students

In a move to support the education sector, NWKRTC continues to offer a ₹2 per km discount for academic excursions. School and college authorities can leverage this discount to reduce the financial burden on students during annual field trips and study tours.

Transparent Booking Terms

To ensure a “no-surprises” experience for the public, NWKRTC has clarified its additional charges. While the base fare is calculated per kilometer:

  1. Minimum KM: Every booking is subject to a minimum kilometer charge (ranging from 200 km to 600 km).
  2. Statutory Fees: Tolls, parking fees, and interstate permit taxes are to be borne by the customer.
  3. Bata Charges: Driver ‘Bata’ or daily allowances are applicable for long-duration rentals.
