Belagavi Hosts ‘Vision Karnataka 2nd Edition’ Exhibition

The city of Belagavi has become the center of a major public engagement initiative this week, as the “Vision Karnataka 2nd Edition” exhibition officially opened its doors.

The event is being held at the KLE Centenary Convention Center. Running from June 23rd to June 25th, 2026, this three-day mega exhibition is designed to highlight various government schemes and policies aimed at fostering innovation, growth, and inclusivity in line with the national “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision.

A Showcase of Progress

The exhibition provides a comprehensive look at the advancements across multiple critical sectors. Visitors are invited to explore displays and information regarding:

  • Infrastructure and Industry: Including Railways, Shipping and Waterways, and various Industries.
  • Technology and Science: Featuring updates on Defence, Science and Technology, and Electronic and IT.
  • Public Services: Highlighting progress in Healthcare, Education, Banking, and Tribal Affairs.
    The event serves as a platform for citizens to interact directly with representatives from various Union government ministries, state departments, public sector organizations, and research institutions.

Community and Educational Engagement

Beyond static displays, the event aims to actively engage the local population and students. Organizers have arranged for a quiz competition with prizes and certificates to encourage student participation.

Additionally, a special panel discussion titled “Future of Belagavi @ 2047” is scheduled for June 24th, featuring stakeholders and government officials to discuss local and regional development.
The exhibition is open to the public free of charge, with daily timings from 10:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
