Homeowners in Belagavi looking for professional interior design solutions now have a new destination, as home interiors brand HomeLane has opened its first experience centre in the city.
Located in Shahapur, the newly launched studio marks the company’s entry into Belagavi and reflects its growing interest in expanding across rapidly developing tier-2 cities. The facility was inaugurated on Saturday in the presence of Belagavi South MLA Abhay Patil, industry representatives, and local business leaders.
The centre has been established through a partnership with Belagavi-based entrepreneur Mahesh G. Chonnad and his firm, Mahesh Chonnad Interior. The collaboration is expected to bring technology-enabled interior design services to customers seeking customized solutions for their homes.
Designed as an interactive experience space, the 850-square-foot studio allows visitors to explore a variety of interior concepts, including modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage systems, and complete home furnishing solutions. Customers can also consult with design experts to plan interiors according to their lifestyle needs and budget.
A key feature of HomeLane’s offering is its digital design platform, which enables customers to view realistic 3D representations of their future interiors and receive detailed cost estimates before work begins.
Company officials said the Belagavi launch is part of a wider expansion strategy aimed at strengthening HomeLane’s footprint in emerging urban centres, where demand for organized home interior services has been steadily increasing alongside residential development.
Speaking about the expansion, HomeLane Co-founder and COO Tanuj Choudhry described Belagavi as an important growth market in North Karnataka. He said the company aims to simplify the home interior journey by combining design expertise, technology, and transparent pricing.
Mahesh G. Chonnad said the partnership would provide local homeowners access to a more reliable and streamlined interiors process, reducing uncertainty often associated with home renovation and furnishing projects.
The opening of the new experience centre adds another organized player to Belagavi’s growing home improvement and real estate ecosystem, offering residents greater choice in professional interior design services.
