Passengers traveling between Bengaluru and Belagavi should prepare for slight travel disruptions over the coming days.
South Western Railway (SWR) has announced that Train No. 20653 KSR Bengaluru–Belagavi Daily Superfast Express will be regulated en route due to ongoing infrastructure development.
According to a press release issued by SWR Chief Public Relations Officer Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, the train will experience an en route delay of 50 minutes for journeys commencing between September 10 and September 12, 2026.
The regulation is necessitated by infrastructure and track maintenance works underway at the Tiptur railway station.
Daily commuters and long-distance travelers heading to Belagavi are advised to factor in this additional travel time while planning their schedules.
