The Belagavi Technology Companies Association (BeTCA) is set to host the fifth edition of its flagship event, the BeTCA Tech Meet, on September 19, 2026.
Centered on the theme “Engineering the Future – AI. Deep Tech. Security,” the summit will convene technology companies, startups, engineers, investors, and business leaders to explore real-world applications of emerging technologies while spotlighting the city’s rapidly expanding innovation landscape.
The keynote address will be delivered by Deepak Shapeti, Co-Founder and CEO of Morphing Machines, who brings extensive expertise in advanced computing, semiconductor design, and deep technology. His address will focus on the engineering capabilities shaping the next generation of tech infrastructure.

The summit will host two focused panel discussions addressing key industry frontiers:
- DeepTech & AI — Innovating Today, Transforming Tomorrow: Explores how artificial intelligence and advanced tech are transitioning from research into market-ready products. Featured panelists include Murali Srinivasa, Deepak Shapeti, and Tulasidas Salunkhe, moderated by Sandeep Patil.
- Beyond the Firewall: How Modern Cyber Attacks Are Detected, Traced and Stopped: Delves into the modern threat landscape, digital forensics, and response strategies. Panelists include mobile metadata forensic specialist Saleem Landur, NetSense CyberSecurity CEO Hitesh Dharmdasani, and cyber-threat intelligence expert Swapneel Patnekar, moderated by Aadil Bandukwala (VP, Content Studio at HackerRank).

Beyond discussions, the 2026 meet introduces several experiential elements designed to highlight local product engineering:
- Product Launch & Exhibition: Member companies will showcase their solutions at exhibition stalls, alongside the unveiling of a brand-new tech product developed by a local BeTCA member. A unified catalog of regional IT products and services will also be released.
- Tech Meet Bus Tour: An exclusive behind-the-scenes tour for invited delegates to visit regional deep-tech facilities and product-development centers.
- Revenue Strategy Masterclass: An invite-only session led by Growth Strategist & Revenue Architect Reetam D., titled “How well do you really know your competition and are you turning that intelligence into revenue?”
First launched in 2022, the BeTCA Tech Meet has evolved from a local networking forum into a comprehensive platform bridging innovators, founders, and industry veterans. Organizers emphasize that the 2026 summit underscores Belagavi’s transition from a technology consumer to a high-value engineering and product-building hub.
