Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait commenced the long-awaited CC road and paver development works in Sadashiv Nagar, covering the stretch from Lakshmi Complex to SBI Bank. The infrastructure project has been taken up at an estimated cost of ₹1.25 crore.
The development aims to improve road conditions, pedestrian movement, drainage accessibility, and overall civic infrastructure in the locality. Residents and commuters had repeatedly raised concerns over damaged roads and inconvenience during daily travel, making the project a long-pending demand of the area.
Speaking during the inauguration, MLA Asif (Raju) Sait assured that the works would be carried out with proper quality standards and completed within the scheduled timeframe to provide lasting relief and improved connectivity for the public.
Amaan Sait was also present during the commencement of the project and interacted with local residents, traders, and business owners regarding ongoing and upcoming development initiatives in the area.
In another major civic initiative, MLA Asif (Raju) Sait also commenced a park development project at Shivbasava Nagar as part of ongoing efforts to improve and modernize public parks across the city.
The park development initiative aims to create better recreational spaces for residents by enhancing greenery, walking tracks, seating arrangements, lighting, landscaping, and other essential amenities. The project reflects the growing focus on creating clean, accessible, and community-friendly public spaces for families, children, and senior citizens.
Addressing residents during the occasion, the MLA stated that parks play a vital role in improving the quality of urban life and promoting a healthier environment. He further noted that similar park development works are being undertaken in different parts of the city to strengthen public amenities and improve neighborhood infrastructure.
MLA Sait was accompanied by Amaan Sait, municipal officials, local residents, traders, and community leaders during both project inaugurations.
