South Western Railway (SWR) has announced the regulation and rescheduling of daily passenger trains operating between Miraj and Belagavi due to ongoing track renewal work between Chikodi Road and Ghatprabha stations.
According to an official press release issued by Dr. Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer of South Western Railway, the service adjustments will take effect across 21 selected dates between August 21 and September 22.
Affected Train Services
- Train No. 56938 Miraj–Belagavi Daily Passenger: Will be regulated for 50 minutes en route on the specified dates.
- Train No. 56939 Belagavi–Miraj Daily Passenger: Departure from Belagavi will be delayed by 30 minutes on the specified dates.
Applicable Dates (21 Days Total)
- August: 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, and 28
- September: 02, 04, 05, 06, 08, 09, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 22
Passengers traveling along the Belagavi–Miraj section on these dates are advised to plan their journeys according to the revised schedules.
