One-Way Special Train from Belagavi to Hazrat Nizamuddin Announced

In a significant relief for north-bound travelers and long-distance passengers from North Karnataka and Southwest Maharashtra, South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a special one-way express service connecting Belagavi directly to Hazrat Nizamuddin (New Delhi).

The special service aims to accommodate the heavy passenger rush during the current travel season.

  • Departure: Thursday, October 8, at 18:30 hrs (6:30 PM) from Belagavi Railway Station
  • Arrival: Saturday, October 10, at 15:00 hrs (3:00 PM) at Hazrat Nizamuddin Station, New Delhi
  • Journey Duration: Approximately 44.5 hours connecting Karnataka directly to the national capital via Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

Departing from Belagavi, the train heads north through Miraj and Pune, traveling across central and northern India before terminating at Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Alongside the Belagavi–Hazrat Nizamuddin service, SWR is also operating Train No. 06539 (Yesvantpur to Amritsar) and Train No. 06261 (Arsikere to Hazrat Nizamuddin) to manage peak passenger volumes across major Karnataka railheads.

Passengers can book reserved Sleeper Class berths through IRCTC counters and online portals, while General Class tickets are available via station UTS counters and the UTS mobile ticketing app.
