Rail commuters traveling between Bengaluru and Belagavi should prepare for minor delays over the coming week. South Western Railway (SWR) has announced that the KSR Bengaluru–Belagavi Express (Train No. 20653) will be regulated by 50 minutes en route from August 27 to September 2, 2026.
The operational slowdown is due to ongoing safety and infrastructure upgrades at Tiptur railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).
