Castle Rock–Miraj Express to Halt at Bagewadi from September 1

The South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a temporary, experimental stoppage for the daily Castle Rock– Miraj– Castle Rock Unreserved Express (Train Nos. 17334/17333) at Bagewadi (BGWD) railway station, aiming to enhance travel convenience for daily commuters and regional passengers.

The one-minute operational halt will take effect on September 1, 2026, and continue for a six-month trial period through February 28, 2027.

Key Timings at Bagewadi (BGWD):

  • Train No. 17334 (Castle Rock to Miraj Express): Reaches Bagewadi at 10:04 PM and departs at 10:05 PM.
  • Train No. 17333 (Miraj to Castle Rock Express): Reaches Bagewadi at 1:18 PM and departs at 1:19 PM.

According to a press release issued by the Hubballi Divisional Railway Manager’s office, railway authorities will monitor passenger footfall and patronization during this six-month window before deciding on extending the halt permanently.
