AAI Invites e-Tenders for Art Installation at Belagavi Airport’s Terminal-2

BELAGAVI – The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has officially issued a second call for e-tenders regarding the beautification of its new passenger terminal building (Terminal-2) at Belagavi Airport (IXG).

The project, titled “Construction of New Domestic Terminal Building and Miscellaneous works at Belagavi Airport. S.H: Providing Art Work in New Passenger Terminal Building at Belagavi Airport-2nd Call,” seeks eligible contractors to enhance the terminal’s aesthetics with creative installations.

Project Overview

  • Estimated Cost: ₹49,04,619 (excluding GST).
  • Completion Period: 45 days.
  • Scope of Work: The project involves specialized art installations, including textured paint on CNC cut plywood frames, acrylic paintings, bamboo-crafted wall installations, and FRP mural art.

Important Requirements for Bidders

  • Mandatory Registration: Bidders must register on the CPP Portal and possess a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) to participate.
  • Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): A sum of ₹1,47,139 (excluding GST) must be paid online.
  • Evaluation Process: The selection involves a two-envelope system. Following a technical evaluation, shortlisted agencies will be required to give a presentation on their design proposals, which will be assessed by an AAI selection committee. Bidders must secure at least 75% marks in aggregate to qualify for the opening of the financial bid.
  • Compliance: Bidders must provide a Unique Document Identification Number (UDIN) for all financial documents, including turnover and net worth certificates.
