Passengers travelling on the Miraj–Castle Rock route will continue to face disruptions as the South Western Railway has extended the partial cancellation of Train Nos. 17333/17334 Miraj–Castle Rock–Miraj Express due to ongoing doubling works between Londa and Castle Rock under the Hubballi Division.
As per the revised schedule, Train No. 17333 Miraj–Castle Rock Express will remain partially cancelled between Londa and Castle Rock from July 1 to August 31, 2026. During this period, the train will terminate at Londa, and services beyond Londa to Castle Rock will remain suspended.
Similarly, Train No. 17334 Castle Rock–Miraj Express will also remain partially cancelled between Castle Rock and Londa during the same period. Instead of originating from Castle Rock, the train will commence its journey from Londa.
The extension of the partial cancellation is necessitated by the ongoing engineering works for the doubling of the Londa–Castle Rock railway section, a key infrastructure project aimed at improving capacity, operational efficiency, and train movement in the region.
Railway authorities have advised passengers travelling on this route to take note of the revised arrangements and plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
