BELAGAVI: In a major leap toward digital transformation, Rani Channamma University (RCU), Belagavi, has announced a landmark partnership with DESILLM Private Limited to implement an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based examination evaluation system.
The official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to make the university’s evaluation process faster, more transparent, and highly efficient.
This technological intervention is set to completely overhaul the traditional evaluation framework, addressing long-standing challenges of delays and human error.
Key Highlights of the AI Initiative
- Speed and Accuracy: By leveraging cutting-edge AI technology, the evaluation of answer scripts will be expedited significantly while eliminating common human biases and errors to ensure pinpoint accuracy.
- Transparency and Uniformity: The AI system will apply uniform grading criteria across all papers, maintaining absolute consistency and bringing complete transparency to the final results.
- Rapid Results Declaration: The drastic reduction in processing time will enable the university to announce examination results within a few days of completing the exams, benefit ing thousands of students.
- Phased Implementation: To ensure a smooth transition, the system will initially be launched as a pilot project for selected core subjects. Based on the initial feedback and success, it will eventually be scaled to cover all university examinations.
