Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait officially took charge as the new Chairman of the Belagavi Urban Development Authority (BUDA) on Thursday.
The charge handover ceremony took place at the BUDA office, where outgoing chairman Laxmanrao Chingale formally transferred responsibilities to Asif Sait and congratulated him by presenting a floral bouquet.
The event was attended by senior leader Lakshmi Hebbalkar, former MLA Feroz Sait, along with other prominent local leaders and officials who extended their best wishes to the newly appointed chairman for his upcoming tenure focused on the city’s planned urban growth.
