Mission Pothole-Free: Fast-Track Road Repairs Underway in Belagavi North

In a targeted drive to improve commuter safety, Belagavi North MLA Asif (Raju) Sait has launched widespread pothole-filling operations across the constituency under the “Pothole-Free Belagavi North” campaign. The repair works are being executed directly based on real-time complaints, photographs, and location tags submitted by local residents.

The citizen-driven initiative operates daily in close coordination with local corporators and the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) to address arterial lanes and inner roads requiring urgent intervention.

Addressing public queries regarding road longevity, MLA Sait clarified that the ongoing patch repairs serve as an immediate relief measure to minimize road hazards and ease daily transit. Comprehensive, permanent restoration and asphalting projects are scheduled to roll out in the coming months, with widespread works slated to begin around November.

“‘Pothole-Free Belagavi North’ is not a one-time campaign,” said MLA Asif Sait. “Every complaint from residents helps us identify areas that need attention. Our team will continue working on reported potholes every day, one road at a time. The focus is not limited to temporary repairs, but on finding long-term solutions.”

Constituency authorities continue to urge citizens to actively report damaged stretches by sending photographs and specific location details to the campaign team to ensure swift, accountable road maintenance across the sector.
