In a meaningful step towards promoting education and improving student facilities, Asif (Raju) Sait, MLA Belagavi North has transformed an underutilized space at the BCM Hostel in Subhash Nagar into a fully functional library.
Prior to the development, three rooms within the hostel remained unused and idle. Today, through a special grant of ₹15 lakh from the MLA fund, the same space has been successfully converted into a dedicated library, providing students with a quiet, resourceful, and well-equipped environment for learning.
This transformation marks a significant improvement, turning what was once an unused area into a hub of knowledge and opportunity. The newly developed library is expected to play a crucial role in supporting students by offering them a conducive space to study, grow, and pursue their academic goals.
Speaking on the occasion, the initiative was highlighted as an important step towards strengthening educational infrastructure and empowering youth through improved access to learning resources.
Rahul Shinde, along with officials from the department and other dignitaries, was present during the event. They appreciated the effort and acknowledged its positive impact on the student community.
