Hubballi, April 25:
In response to the increased travel demand during the summer vacation season, the South Western Railway, Hubballi Division, has announced a special express train service between Bengaluru and Belagavi.
According to an official press release, Train No. 06503 special express will depart from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 7:00 PM on April 30, 2026 (Thursday) and is scheduled to arrive in Belagavi at 7:35 AM the following day.
In the return direction, Train No. 06504 will leave Belagavi at 5:30 PM on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 5:00 AM on Monday. Both services will be operated as one-time special trips.
The train will halt at several important stations en route, including Chikkabanavara, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davanagere, Harihar, Haveri, Karajgi, Hubballi, Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, and Khanapur in both directions.
The special train will consist of 19 coaches, including two AC 2-tier, four AC 3-tier, seven sleeper class, four general second class, and two SLRD coaches.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to make use of this additional service to avoid last-minute rush and ensure a convenient journey during the peak holiday period.
