The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has officially expanded its footprint in Belagavi with the inauguration of a new Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Bhagya Nagar.
The facility was formally opened by Belagavi Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Mohammed Roshan.
The inaugural event saw the presence of key officials, including UIDAI Deputy Director Siri Anand V., who briefed the gathering on the comprehensive range of services now available to residents at the center.
Enhancing Accessibility and Efficiency
During the event, UIDAI Manager Mohammed Musab provided a live demonstration on how citizens can utilize the online appointment booking system.
He also highlighted the latest features and user-friendly functionalities of the new Aadhaar application, aimed at making the enrollment and update process more seamless.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Roshan lauded the UIDAI’s proactive approach to implementing citizen-centric services. Emphasizing the importance of public convenience, he directed the center’s staff to prioritize the swift resolution of grievances and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
“The media plays a vital role in creating awareness among the public regarding the facilities and services available at this Aadhaar Seva Kendra,” DC Roshan noted, urging for better outreach to ensure citizens can take full advantage of the center.
Live Demonstration of Services
As part of the program, the Deputy Commissioner’s own Aadhaar biometric information was updated, providing a live example of the center’s efficiency.
A practical demonstration of the entire Aadhaar enrollment and update process was also conducted for the attendees to showcase the streamlined procedure.
