The Visvesvaraya Research & Innovation Foundation (VRIF) Technology Business Incubator (TBI), supported by the Department of Electronics, IT & Biotechnology (ITBT), Government of Karnataka, and K-Tech, has invited applications for “Navodaya”, a 12-month startup incubation program aimed at nurturing innovative startups and transforming ideas into scalable businesses.
The incubation initiative is designed to support early-stage as well as growth-stage startups by providing mentorship, infrastructure, technical guidance, and ecosystem access to help them build market-ready solutions.
The program focuses on emerging technology domains including Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics & Automation, Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Education Technology (EdTech), Digital Twin Technologies, and Language & Speech Technologies.
According to the organizers, startups at the idea, prototype, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and early revenue stages are eligible to apply. Technology-driven and innovation-focused teams are encouraged to participate, while DPIIT-recognized startups will be given preference.
Selected startups will receive expert mentorship and technical guidance, incubation and co-working support, business and go-to-market assistance, intellectual property rights (IPR) and legal support, investor and funding readiness guidance, as well as access to talent and networking opportunities.
The incubation centre is located at Silver Jubilee Bhavan, VTU “Jnana Sangama” campus in Belagavi.
